International campaign: Mining in Paradise? No-go zones for Mining 

We would like to invite you on Thursday, September 16 to join us for the launch of "Mining in Paradise? No-go zones for mining", an international campaign by Catapa and several Peruvian organizations. You can take part in several activities to support the campaign and the demand of the Peruvian farmers to declare their territories "no-go zones for mining".

We start at 15:00 with an action on ‘Sint-Pietersplein’, from where we move our actions to ‘het Zuid’, Woodrow Wilsonplein (16:30 onwards). Starting at 21:00, we will screen the campaign movie in El Negocito (Brabantdamstraat 121). Afterwards you can enjoy a show by the Chilean musician Ernesto Bórguez and taste some refreshing cocktails that have been created to fit the campaign theme.

Throughout these events you can sign the e-petition "no-go zones for mining" and have your picture taken to support the campaign. Be there or be square!

Spread the word to as many people as possible about our campaign. Send them an e-mail, tell them about the website (www.mininginparadise.org) and ask them to join our Facebook and/or Twitter Group. And, off course, have them sign the petition!
